Nominations Now Open for the Inaugural Income Property Management Awards
Help Recognize the Professionals Shaping the Future of Rental Housing in the Inland Empire
Every day, independent rental owners, property managers, leasing professionals, maintenance teams, and industry partners work behind the scenes to keep rental housing communities operating, residents served, and properties performing at their best. Yet many of these professionals rarely receive the recognition they deserve.
That is about to change.
Nominations are now being accepted for the inaugural Income Property Management Awards (IPMAs), presented by the Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles (AAGLA) as part of the Income Property Management Expo (IPME) Inland Empire, taking place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at the Ontario Convention Center.

The IPMAs were created to celebrate excellence across the rental housing industry and honor the individuals, teams, companies, and communities making a lasting impact throughout the Inland Empire. From exceptional on-site professionals and maintenance technicians to innovative management companies and dedicated independent rental owners, the awards recognize those who elevate standards, improve resident experiences, and demonstrate leadership within the industry.
The Inland Empire continues to be one of California’s fastest-growing rental housing markets. As the region expands, so does the need to recognize the professionals who help drive its success. Whether through outstanding customer service, operational excellence, resident retention, team leadership, property performance, or industry involvement, countless individuals are making meaningful contributions that deserve recognition.
Award categories include:
- Property Manager of the Year
- Assistant Property Manager of the Year
- Leasing Professional of the Year
- Maintenance Technician of the Year
- Property Management Company of the Year
- Property of the Year
- Independent Rental Owner of the Year
- Rising Star Award
- Industry Partner of the Year
Industry recognition matters. Recognition boosts morale, strengthens company culture, supports employee retention, and highlights best practices that benefit the entire profession. It also provides an opportunity to showcase the talented individuals and organizations working every day to meet the challenges of California’s increasingly complex rental housing environment.
Whether you are nominating a colleague, supervisor, team member, company, client, or even yourself, the IPMAs offer a unique opportunity to celebrate success and shine a spotlight on the people making a difference throughout the Inland Empire rental housing industry.
Don’t wait! The nomination deadline is August 15, 2026.
Housing providers, management companies, industry suppliers, and rental housing professionals are encouraged to submit nominations as soon as possible. Early submissions provide nominees additional time to complete supporting materials and strengthen their applications.
Award recipients will be honored during a special presentation at IPME Inland Empire, where housing providers, property management professionals, maintenance teams, and industry partners will come together to celebrate excellence and recognize those setting the standard for rental housing throughout the Inland Empire.
If someone on your team consistently goes above and beyond, now is the time to recognize their achievements.
Submit your nomination today and help celebrate the people, properties, and companies raising the standard for rental housing excellence throughout the Inland Empire.
