If you purchase IPME’s products and services, we collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction.

Registration Terms & Conditions – Contact Information & Badge Scanning

1. Consent to Share Contact Information (Opt-In)

By registering for the Income Property Management Expo (IPME), you acknowledge and agree that your registration constitutes consent (opt-in) to share your contact information when you voluntarily engage with exhibitors, including but not limited to when an exhibitor scans your event badge.

Your information is not automatically shared with all exhibitors.  Information is shared only when you intentionally present your badge to be scanned or otherwise authorize an exhibitor to collect your information.

2. Information That May Be Shared

When your badge is scanned by an exhibitor, the following information may be shared with that exhibitor:

Company / Organization

Job title (if provided)

Email address

Phone number

City and state

Other information you voluntarily provided during registration

3. Purpose of Information Use

Exhibitors may use the shared information solely for legitimate business purposes, including:

Post-event follow-up

Product or service information related to IPME

Industry-related communications

Exhibitors are prohibited from selling, leasing, or transferring attendee information to third parties not affiliated with IPME without the attendee’s consent.

4. Your Control & Right to Decline

You remain in full control of your information at all times.

You may decline to have your badge scanned by any exhibitor.

You may unsubscribe or opt out of future communications directly with any exhibitor at any time.

IPME does not control exhibitor follow-up communications once information is voluntarily shared.

5. IPME Use of Attendee Information

By registering, you also consent to IPME using your contact information for:

Event communications

Post-event follow-up

Industry news, educational content, and future IPME-related events

You may opt out of IPME communications at any time via provided unsubscribe mechanisms.

6. Data Security & Privacy

IPME takes reasonable steps to safeguard attendee data. However, IPME is not responsible for the data practices of third-party exhibitors once attendee information has been voluntarily shared through badge scanning or other direct interactions.

7. Acceptance of Terms

By completing registration for IPME, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, including the opt-in sharing of contact information through exhibitor badge scanning.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

IPME does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

IPME may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to IPME, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

IPME may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on IPME or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of IPME; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of IPME, or the public.

Tracking User Behavior

IPME may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within IPME, in order to determine what IPME services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within IPME to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by IPME. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the IPME website.

Right to Deletion
